Die Young

How he hadn’t seen it before, he’d never known, he thought, lying there, bleeding on the floor.

She’d been so beautiful the first time they’d met. He could never suspect….

Their first kiss, first touch, first time, so sweet. How could he have known. Their children were more then any man could dream of, but now they too were gone.

Everyone left in the end, she said, you’ll die alone, and she’d been right.

He wasn’t even twenty-five.

He had so much left to live for, so much to see. Things that now he’d never get to do, he could only hope they fared better then he ever did.
